Role of partner sending organizations
Organizations and companies that send foreign technical intern trainees to Japan are generally called "sending organizations."
Under the Foreign Technical Intern Training Program, "sending organizations" plays the role of recruiting technical intern trainee candidates in the sending country and sending them to Japan.
The role of sending organizations
1. Recruitment and selection of technical intern trainee candidates
They recruit and select local young people who wish to learn skills in Japan as technical intern trainees.
Currently, there are sending organizations in 18 countries, and they have concluded bilateral agreements with the sending countries with the aim of promoting cooperation between Japan and the sending countries to ensure that technical intern training is carried out appropriately and smoothly.

2. Implementation of training before sending to Japan
Before sending trainee candidates to Japan, we provide them with local training until they reach a certain level of Japanese language proficiency and basic knowledge.
This pre-entry training, called pre-entry training, teaches Japanese language, Japanese rules and manners, and practical skills required in the field, and takes six months to learn everything necessary for living and working in Japan.

3. Cooperation with supervisory organizations
They work with Japanese supervising organizations to set up interviews with the Japanese companies that accept trainees and prepare documents necessary for entry and departure.
Departure procedures
The technical intern trainee will leave the home country and go through the procedures to enter Japan.
They will conduct health examinations and report the results to the Japanese supervisory organization.
The supervising organization will then proceed with the residence status application process, and once the Certificate of Eligibility has been issued, it will be sent to the sending organization.
Based on the Certificate of Eligibility sent by the supervising organization, they will then proceed to apply for a visa to enter Japan.
They also assist with passport applications and other departure procedures.
Handling inquiries and troubles during technical training in Japan
The role of sending organizations also exists after sending technical intern trainees to Japan.
One of these is support during trainees stay in Japan.
They also provide support when technical intern trainees get into trouble, and provide mental care and support for them during their life in Japan.

After completing the technical internship, they will support trainees in returning home, including the return procedures and contacting trainees family in home country.
