The structure and flow of the Technical Intern Training Program
The foreign technical intern training system is mainly divided into two types: the company-only type and the group-supervised type.
In the group-supervised type, companies that become members of a government-certified supervising organization such as ours become training providers and accept technical intern trainees based on employment contracts.
By using this system, even companies that do not have bases overseas can accept technical intern trainees.
In Japan, 98.3% of technical intern training programs are "group supervision type."
Supported by specialized staff
Companies (training implementers) using the group supervision type can receive the following support, which reduces the burden of accepting technical intern trainees.
- Support for entry and departure procedures
- Japanese language education for technical intern trainees
- Support for various applications
- Procedure support when assigned
- Language support (use of interpreter staff, ongoing Japanese language education)
- Daily support (regular visits to workplaces and dormitories)
- Health support (warnings, dealing with illnesses and injuries, etc.)
- Response to emergencies
Process of accepting foreign technical intern trainees
Human Relations Cooperative's expert staff, who are knowledgeable about foreign technical intern training, will support companies with detailed services at each stage .
1. Apply to accept technical intern trainees
Companies wishing to accept technical intern trainees are required to join the union .
2. Recruiting, selecting and deciding on technical intern trainees
Technical intern trainees who wish to undergo training must register with a technical intern training organization in their home country.
Interviews will be conducted either locally (overseas) or online, and the selected trainee will then enter into an employment contract with the company.
Selected technical intern trainees will receive preparatory training.
3. Learning progress report
We will provide regular reports on the learning status and health condition of technical intern trainees.
Technical intern trainees enter Japan.
After entering Japan, technical intern trainees take Japanese language education and life guidance at training facilities.
5. Internship at a company
After completing the course, the trainees are assigned to the host company and acquire skills while working.
The supervising organization (Human Relations Cooperative) will support the technical intern training.
During the training period, technical intern trainees will take a skills certification test for the job they are aiming for.
If they pass the test, they can move on to the next step (No. 2).
6. Technical intern trainees return to their home countries
After completing the training, trainees will utilize the skills they have acquired in their home countries.
