Company P - Mr. Y
Did you have any concerns about accepting the student? Also, how was it once you actually accepted the student?
There was a language barrier and I was very worried about whether I would be able to properly convey my training and detailed instructions, but interpreters were sent to me each time and everything went smoothly.
(Introductory training, safety training, health checks, stress checks, etc.)
For any difficult communications, we ask the trainees to contact us through an interpreter and follow up.
We also have educational materials translated into Vietnamese and are making use of them.
Have you ever had any problems or issues? How did you solve them?
There were financial problems with the technical intern trainees themselves, as well as problems with the trainees borrowing and lending money to each other, but the parties intervened and the issues were resolved.
We also provide visits to the dormitory if necessary.
There were times when differences in culture and temperament caused discord with my superiors, but we were able to resolve the issue by setting up a forum for discussion with the help of an interpreter.
Have there been any changes, such as positive things, since accepting trainees?
Most of them are highly motivated and earnest.
Seeing them working hard every day has improved the atmosphere at work.
Why did you choose Human Relations?
Also, how did you feel when you actually accepted the position?
Originally, our parent company used Human Relations to accept technical intern trainees.
Through this introduction and expansion, our company also began accepting technical intern trainees.
After being accepted, they provide thorough support, including assistance with entry and return to Japan and housing arrangements.
Please give a message to those who are considering hosting us.
When we accepted the technical intern trainees, we faced various obstacles, including the language barrier, but we were able to move forward with support each time.
To be honest, there are difficult times, but working hard with these students has also led to growth for us as teachers, and I feel that the atmosphere at work is better than before we started.
Companies that are interested in accepting technical intern trainees should consider this possibility.
